Welcome to a seminar on Customer driven innovations by Anne-Mette Hjalager

During the seminar professor Hjalager will discuss some of her latest research projects and results from studies on customer driven innovations within the service sectors with particularly focus on tourism.

Since September 2011 Prof. Hjalager is a professor and Head of Danish Centre for Rural Research at the University of Southern Denmark. Her work tasks include research management, research dissemination, participation in research projects, and teaching. Prof. Hjalager is a member of Danish governmentally appointed committee examining national growth strategies in tourism, she is since 2012 Resource editor of Annals of Tourism Research, since 2012 she participated in a preparatory group management by Exeter University for an EU-COST project covering issues of ecosystems management and tourism/leisure development. Her research areas are: economic development and innovation in rural areas, tourism and planning.

The seminar is arranged by the Centre for Tourism and Center for Global HRM at the School of Business Economics and Law. Lena Mossberg, professor in Marketing at the School of Business, Economics and Law, is chairing the seminar.
